Only if it could be perfect...

Image
I s there a perfect thought or a flawless idea? Is there a perfect blend of colours that can be used to paint a canvas? Is there a building made of perfect materials to be able to withstand all tremors, heavy rains and floods forever without being worn out? And are there perfect set of words that can together form a perfect script?   What about a moment when we stretch out our arm in rain and we see water droplets bounce off our palm? It may not be perfect but such a moment demands us to lose ourselves in the conscious living!   It may at times seem that the real world doesn't give much scope to make mistakes. So we wait until we are confident enough to present our views, until we have a 'well researched' business model to execute, until we are well accepted by the people around us. We wait...   Waves after waves hit the rocks which eventually change their shapes. The rocks firmly witness all types of weathers and see the sand get washed away. They confront the unexpected...

A fresh perspective matters

Image
Amidst all the uncertainties that lie before us, take a moment to step out to see the moon? In the midnight, there might be a tune hummed by the cool breeze that you land up liking or lose yourself in the starry sky. Breathe consciously. But does it help to find the answers to our baffling questions? Does it help to feel less confused in this world where information is being bombarded from all directions? Or is it urging us to be 'irrationally' positive?   Robert Morgan once wrote, "Distance not only gives nostalgia, but perspective, and may be objectivity."   Sometimes it's difficult to imagine the puzzle pieces in front of us can ever be turned into one picture. We invest our time, energy, and run around for the right guidance and with some idea we start to join the puzzle pieces. But the journey is not meant to be smooth? Probably that's why the achievers say that "Process is more important than the result."   And don't the setbacks strength...

Being 'irrationally' positive

Image
It is 5'o clock in the evening. Trees bow before the vastness of the sky. The ecosystem is set for the viewers to get inspired for the higher vision to aim for. But the energy is fading in the background. Almost like one would want to take a nap under the tree. The stillness around compels one to take a moment to breathe; remain calm to confront the uncertainties. But how can a daily wager stop? His next meal is undecided!   When the circumstances seem tough, a glance at the nature could assure one that there lies a ray of hope. One may want to call it a state of being 'irrationally' positive. But how does it work? Do the trees preaching solidarity know that the gap between the 'Haves' and 'Haves not' is increasing? Does the wind know that we have been pushed into unexpected unknowable?    At times being 'irrationally' positive encourages one to believe in oneself and take steps with courage when all seems dull and negative. And are we left with an...

The Noise and The Silence

Image
The rays of sunlight were reaching out to the muddy road through the leaves of the dense trees. And there was a complete silence. As if the silence was ready to write its own story. The clear blue sky would witness the story writing. Till now several sounds had evoked sentiments, what would the silence want to express? The pages of the book waited to be inked.    In the background, a butterfly was playing with the wind and some birds were flying from one branch to another. But the silence was focussed on the leaves soaked in sunlight. The book laid on her side. The usual hustle and bustle was rendered calm. The benches laid empty. The fresh green grass on the side of the muddy road looked greener than ever before. It felt that the surrounding was helping the silence to express herself.    The silence turned the un -inked pages of the book. And after several years...   The noise and the usual hustle and bustle of the city life returned. The sil...

Spirulina - The food of the future

Image
"It was not a coincidence, it was my duty to take up the spirulina project", says Hendrik, the founder of Aurospirul   Have you tried the fresh, nutritious spirulina juice containing lemon, amla, ginger and jaggery in it? Wo rkers  in Aurospirul don't like spirulina in their lunch. If it is sprinked on sambhar, they don't like green sambhar, they prefer yellow sambhar. Hendrik who has been running Aurospirul for the last 25 years says "Spirulina juice is liked by all. The workers here enjoy it." Hendrik stresses on the fact that if there is a spirulina project, people cultivating it should also consume it in one way or another.   Some people say that spirulina smells like a fish but Hendrik says it is the other way round, "Fish smells like an algae. We are what we eat. The fish eats an algae that is why it smells like an algae." Spirulina is the oldest 'plant life' on earth. It is the link between the bacterial life and the plant life. It...

The Deeper Connection

Image
And in the silence, a deeper connect was felt. The wind was blowing as if it was ready to paint a canvas in its own creative fashion. As if the design had a purpose to be formed, as if the pattern had a structure of its own, as if the canvas had surrendered itself to the wind. The wind wished to let go of all limits to let the intuitive reasoning guide its actions. It's strokes were sometimes mild, sometimes harsh, sometimes dusty and sometimes moist. The canvas with time gathered the strength to withstand all. It remained unmoved. It enjoyed the cool breeze and hated the times of 'loo' but like always it was firm and tough.    Once a blank background now has the details of the unique expressions. The 'unexpressed' made its way to its destination. Wind is powerful. The unstoppable spontaneously makes its own marks. Are the fences ignored that the wind is once again on its way? The canvas silently witnesses the scene. In the deep darkness, the wind prepares itself, s...
